Licensing Microsoft® SQL Server

Licensing Microsoft® SQL Server

Microsoft SQL Server usage is governed by some of Microsoft’s most complex licence terms. It is also one of the most common products for which licence deficiencies are identified during a licence audit.

Licensing Microsoft® SQL Server is an in-depth, 1-day software licensing training course dedicated to the licensing of Microsoft SQL Server.

This course will teach you everything you need to know to avoid compliance risks, make informed purchasing decisions and gain maximum value from your SQL Server software licence investments.

The course covers the licence terms relating to running SQL Server workloads in on-premises environments, and also covers the licence terms applicable to running SQL Server workloads in the cloud and how those terms can differ significantly between Azure, AWS and other 3rd-Party cloud environments.

"You know you are in good hands and learning from the best at the business when your trainer spells the word ‘Licence’ accurately every time! I enrolled into this course with much unease since my background is not technical but the course content was so easy to follow. The trainer explained each topic at a level where every student was comfortable with the understanding."

Shanaz Khan: BT Contracts and Procurement Administrator – CSL Limited
Masters of Microsoft® Licensing Training Course - Enterprise Agreement Renewal

"The course was very insightful and thought provoking; so much so that the team re-cut the numbers to model the different product licensing options discussed – in short it was exactly what we were looking for to get everyone aligned and focused on task at hand. This is the course that all organisations should be looking at if they want to take control of their Microsoft environment and get the most from their entitlements, while minimising their financial exposure"
