The Microsoft Open Licence Agreement is being retired!
On September 30th, Microsoft announced that the Open Licence Agreement is being retired. As of January 1st, 2022, commercial organisations will no longer be able to acquire new licences, or renew Software Assurance or subscription licences through the Open Licence Agreement.
Commercial organisations who currently acquire licensing through an Open Licence Agreement should start reviewing their post December 31st, 2021 licensing options (CSP and/or Open Value Agreements for example) as soon as possible.
